Overview
Occasionally, you may see an error when trying to submit a super contribution.
Errors must be resolved before the submission can be made.
In the vast majority of cases, these errors will stem from missing or incorrect super fund details in the employee record. For example:
- A missing or incorrect Unique Superfund Identifier (USI)
- A missing or incorrect super fund ABN
- For self-managed super funds (SMSF), a missing ABN, EAS, fund name or bank details.
You can learn about some other common errors in Beam's article Beam Errors and Warnings.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on Super Errors
Q: I have an error for one employee, can I submit the super for the rest of my employees in the meantime?
A: Yes. Click the trash can icon to remove the employee with errors from the super payment and then you can submit and pay contributions for your remaining employees. Once you've resolved the error, you can make a separate contribution later.
